Are you fit for 4.0? A seminar about how to train the trainers for Industry 4.0 – 30th Nov 2021 Time: 13:00 – 16:00 (UTC+1) Location: online, Teams

Are you a teacher or vocational trainer? Are you a headmaster or decision-maker in the educational system? Or are you an HR-officer or workplace mentor in the production industry? Do you want to learn more about the competences required in the future digital production industry? Then this on-line seminar is for you!

The world of the production industry is changing rapidly with the introduction of digitalization, what is sometimes described as Industry 4.0. Digital elements such as collaborative robots, additive manufacturing and digital twins are now common in the industrial workplace. But are schools and training institutes ready to support this transition? To the present day, many teachers and trainers are not aware of the change; most of them don’t even know how to use online instruments that already exist to design, to learn and to evaluate.

The objective of Erasmus+ project Fit for 4.0 is to define soft or horizontal competences for Industry 4.0 and help teachers and trainers achieve these competences through self-assessment tests and on-line training. This seminar is an opportunity to share the project outcome with the beneficiaries; teachers, VET-trainers, headmasters, decision-makers, HR-officers and workplace mentors.
